# Move Mouse

Moves the mouse cursor to the specified point in (x,y) coordinates.

Move Mouse is the right choice to be used by the robot to move the mouse cursor to a certain coordinate while accessing the application on a virtual machine. If the robot has direct access to the application controls, we recommend [Move to Control](/actions/tap-actions/mouse/move-to-control.md).
